I am a PhD student in Developmental Psychology and Education at OISE, University of Toronto, and an experienced ESL/EFL educator. My professional background includes post-secondary English language teaching, language assessment, and IELTS speaking assessment. My experience working with international multilingual learners has shaped my interest in how language, assessment, technology, and educational contexts influence student learning.
My research interests include generative AI in education, language and educational assessment, academic integrity and responsible AI use, multilingual and international post-secondary learners, and ESL/EFL teaching, learning, and pedagogy. My current doctoral work explores the changing role of AI in post-secondary education, with particular attention to responsible AI use, academic integrity, and how institutional expectations are translated into curriculum and educational practice.
